WonderKing
WonderKing Online, published by NDOORS Interactive is a 2D, side-scrolling MMORPG that takes players on an adventurous journey with story-by-story quests, much like a fantasy novel.Players start by creating their character, which is pretty rudimentary and basic. You pick a few hairstyles, color, change some clothes and off you go. Before that, however, you've got to first pick your character class: swordsman, mage, thief, or scout. Scouts and mages are best at long range attacks, swordsmen are about getting close and personal, and thieves are all about doing as much damage as they can in as little time as possible.
Combat is pretty easy at times at least it is if you level properly and don't try to tackle enemies above your level but that doesn't mean it's a cakewalk. You wouldn't think it'd be possible to get ganged up on in a 2D side-scrolling game, but I was surprised to see myself often surrounded and having to attack and defend myself from both sides. The graphics are similar to Maplestory, but the gameplay is so much better. First off, the game is much more user friendly. All the menus and interfaces are much much better than maplestory. Also this isn't a grind it out game like Maplestory. The majority of your exp comes from quests. This game I guess you could consider it Maplestory 2.0, since they took everything that I hated about maplestory (which wasn't very much) and addressed them.
