Star Wars Galaxies

I tried SWG about 3 years ago and found the game to be quite a bit of fun. The only real issue I had with the game was an extreme lack of content after I finished the legacy quest line. SWG is just a badly done wow clone atm and is without doubt the most bugged and lag infested mmorpg i've ever tried with no attempt to fix any of the many problems. If you are looking for something like the films you will be biterly disappointed as there is very little star wars content in there.With a new Star Wars MMO on the horizon, SW:G is in peril of having its licence pulled by Lucas Arts.

The Storyteller system of Galaxies allows its players to weave intricate stories for each other. It also allows players to set up some fantastic player events, such as beautiful in-game weddings that don't get ruined by random open PvP.
The new Chronicle system lets players create their own quests, complete with experience and unique loot rewards. The game is not what it once was, it has moved on and evolved; like many, I quit post Nge, having played since early closed beta, but having nothing better to do I subbed for station access and returned just before Christmas. I have to say I was surprised how many folks are back playing this game, and how much it has moved on from the god awful nge release.
