Game Data & Story
Gameplay is oriented to personal exploration at first. All characters begin at the Gates of Antra, the entrance to the great city of the largest and most powerful kingdom of the world. The City is a relatively safe place for a beginner to start, although it too has many, many dangerous spots, and players should expect to lose a few characters before they learn not to "step in it!"
Gameplay has been designed to be as loose as possible, so that the player can take any path they please. If the game has a point, it is in gentle development of the character. Skills must be discovered and learned, treasure must be found to buy armor and weapons, and longer, more detailed and far more dangerous expeditions planned.
For players who have declared for a house, their character will eventually be called back to their House lands by their provincial overlord's summons. Players who have not declared for a house will not receive this message, obviously, but it is assumed that they will choose to develop their characters in other ways, perhaps by deciding to learn an ability. Abilities must be learned from teachers, and seeking out the correct teacher for an ability can be an adventure in itself.

The game takes you into the World of Antra. Compatible browsers include Firefox and Safari . You may need to download the Flash plugin for Netscape separately on some platforms. Port 8080 must be open for the game client to work.
When you want to attack someone or something, wield a weapon. Whatever weapon you are currently wielding, or bare fists if you do not have any weapons, becomes the weapon you are attacking with. It is this weapon's damage rating that will be used to calculate how much damage is done to your opponent if you succeed in landing a blow with the weapon.
