Roleplaying is the essence of your character. In other words, roleplaying is the method or characterization of your player. You may decide to be helpful, bitter, stupid, etc., but, whatever decision you make, you should be consistant with it. Roleplaying is essential as it gives those around you some sort of expectation in regards to how to interact with you and it also provides you with an element of additional challenge in approaching the game. In its bottom line, roleplaying is everything about your character. It is how you interact, fight, view wealth, religion, etc. Without a determined method of roleplaying, you will wander aimlessly without goals, aspirations, or, for all practical purposes, a life.

Evermore is a medieval fantasy realm mud. The environment is one of family, friendship and cooperation. Players and wizards alike are usually willing to assist their brothers and sisters during complications. This does not mean that life is simple. Training, skills, quests and advancement require perservearance, careful thought, and a keen eye. All this can be accomplished with help from others. Role play is encouraged and the line between role and real is often blurred. Certainly the family environment lends itself to establishing real friendships, but, life can also be harsh and unforgiving, often forcing you to stand alone, especially in death.
The Lands of Evermore hold many surprises. Not is all as it first appears. Adventuring through Evermore will take one through many forests, mines, caverns, mountains, rivers, lakes, and, of course, towns and villages. As one travels across, over and into these places they will accumulate weapons, wealth, skills, treasures, dangers and knowledge. How these finds are to be utilized depends entirely upon one's individual role playing choices. Guilds can be joined, homes built, enemies established, friends acquired and quests completed.
