Ever Quest 2

mmorpg screenshot EverQuest II is an online universe that exists parallel to the hugely successful gaming phenomenon EverQuest®. Featuring breathtaking graphics and a vast, beautiful game world to explore, EverQuest II sets new standards in graphical realism as players are immersed in the game's powerful epic storyline with thousands of players online.

Set 500 years after EverQuest, EverQuest II is a new and different game experience in a world marred by a series of massive cataclysms. Players enter this world by creating their own unique character from 16 races and 24 classes, using a powerful customization system for unprecedented player individuality.

Players will encounter hundreds of creatures as they travel across the majestic landscape of rolling hills, barren deserts, dense forests, and bustling cities. Thousands of new items, hundreds of new spells, and unparalleled adventures await all who enter the world of EverQuest II.

Game Data

The EverQuest II environments will vary greatly, ranging from lush forests teeming with flora and fauna to barren desert wastelands. While players will recognize certain names and locations from EverQuest, many of them have undergone startling changes in the last 500 years. Player guilds are organizations that ally themselves with one of the two cities in-game (Qeynos or Freeport ). These organizations are created to support the factions in each of these cities (currently there are 5 factions in-game for Qeynos and Freeport ). "Guilded" players of the same city may ally themselves with any of the faction groups within their home city in order to gain experience and levels for the guild as well as personal status. This translates into rewards from not only the faction, but also the city itself. Player Guilds can have two types of members: Patrons and Followers.

ity Faction merchants will have items that are flavored to the groups they represent. An example would be the armor of the Freeport Militia, a Throne from the Dismal Rage, a Title from the Concordium and some interesting Tomes of Ancient Knowledge from The Academy of Arcane Sciences. In addition to the rewards that can be purchased, certain rewards (such as titles) will bestow recognition upon individuals and will alter the behavior of faction NPC's towards an individual. An example would be that a player that had attained the rank of “Sergeant-at-Arms” in the Qeynos Guard will be greeted and saluted by his fellow guardsmen and shown the recognition that his station deserves. Players will learn what strategies work best for a given situation or enemy type based not only on their own abilities, but on the abilities of the classes they are grouped with. To play your best will require you to think and pay attention to the choices you make.
